Kakku Fort is almost 400 years old Jagir which was awarded to Shri Chandrabhan Singh Ji Bidawat Rathore who was extra ordinary warrior in the army of Shri Gaj Singh Ji - King of Bikaner in the year 1630. Shri Chandrabhan Singh Ji sacrificed his life in a battle in between Pushkar and Merta in the year 1641. Kakku was an important fort in the old state times situated on the borders of Bikaner and Jodhpur states and the brave Rajput rulers of this fort were protecting the border from the attacks of Jodhpur state army.
